What "safe" honestly means
No product that kills pests is completely harmless, and any company that says "100% chemical-free" for termites or bed bugs is not being straight with you. Safety comes from choosing the right product, using the smallest effective amount, and putting it only where pests are. That is how we work, and it is why most of our customers stay at home during treatment.
Before your pest control visit
- Tell us about babies, pregnancy, elderly family members, asthma or pets when you book
- Store food, utensils and toothbrushes in closed cupboards or the fridge
- Cover aquariums and switch off their air pumps; move pet bowls and bedding
- For bed bug treatment, wash bedding in hot water and clear under the beds
After treatment
- Keep children and pets away from treated spots until they are dry
- Ventilate rooms if a spray was used
- Do not wash treated cracks, edges or skirting for the period advised
- Call or WhatsApp us if you have any concerns; we are a phone call away

Safe pest control FAQs
What makes your pest control "human-safe"?
Three things: we choose the lowest-toxicity product that will work (herbal or neem-based where possible, otherwise CIB&RC-registered low-toxicity products); we apply it only where pests live, such as cracks, hinges, soil and wood, instead of spraying rooms; and we give you clear re-entry and safety instructions for every job.
Is pest control safe during pregnancy?
Please tell us when you book. We will recommend herbal or bait-based methods, schedule the visit when you can be away from the treated area, and advise you to check with your doctor. For bed bug or heavy treatments we will suggest staying elsewhere for the day.
Is it safe for my dog or cat?
Yes, when you follow our instructions. Keep pets away from treated areas until they are dry, cover aquariums and switch off their pumps during spraying, and move pet bowls and bedding before we start. Rodent bait is only used in locked stations pets cannot open.
How long should we stay out after pest control?
For cockroach baiting, termite drill-fill-seal and herbal treatments, you usually do not need to leave. For bed bug treatment we ask you to keep out of the treated rooms for three to four hours and air them before use.
Do I need to clean after the treatment?
Do not wipe or mop the treated cracks and edges for the time your technician mentions, so the treatment keeps working. Open surfaces like counters can be wiped as usual.
